What is The Bourbon Mafia?

In 2013, 13 bourbon aficionados wanted to establish a group for people to deepen their understanding, and appreciate bourbon’s culture, history and diversity. Thus, Bourbon Mafia was born.

Today, we're comprised of men and women from different walks of life that have one thing in common, the love of bourbon. All this comes about through our distiller dinners, open discussions, lectures and tastings. We are a highly visible part of the bourbon community that will even include charitable donations through its members and treasury. Some of our goals will be to recognize the history and all the mastery specifics of bourbon making. Most of all we plan to have fun with the many different types of bourbon while exploring.

Since it’s inception, The Bourbon Mafia has grown from 13, to it’s current membership of 44. We have members living in KY, IL, IN, TN, FL, AL, SC, CA, and GA.

The Bourbon Mafia makes it a point to give back to our communities. Since our group organized, we’ve donated monies to various charities that are special to our members. We raise money in different ways, such as auctioning of bottles of rare Bourbon, Bourbon Mafia’s Private Selections, or other Bourbon related items.
